about this home's

This creekside, light-filled, 3 bedroom*, 2 bathroom Mid-century home is nestled in the coveted Estudillo Estates neighborhood where many desire to live, but few have the opportunity. It really is one of the best-kept secrets in the East Bay. This stylish home has been lovingly maintained and is ready for its new owner. A nicely landscaped exterior greets you. Come in to find an open concept modern interior with beautiful dark hewn hardwood floors. An inviting living room beckons you to cozy up by the dramatic tiled fireplace. The dining room can accommodate large gatherings, and the open, updated kitchen will make preparing meals a joy while you easily converse with guests. The 3 bedrooms* are located down the hall so you have the perfect separation of public and private spaces. You will feel you have gone to the spa when you shower in one of the updated bathrooms. In addition, this home has air conditioning so you will feel comfortable despite the heat.

Need to get away from it all? There is a bonus room off the detached garage.* This room is a wonderful place to have your own home gym, office, or just to hang out. The garage is detached and there is a long driveway which leads up to it, so there is plenty of extra room for both storage and parking. Behind the bonus room* and garage, you will find your own bucolic sanctuary. The patio sits above San Leandro Creek where you can spend your time being part of nature. Creekside living is very special, and you will be the envy of all your friends.

You will love how convenient this home is to all the great amenities San Leandro has to offer. There is a footbridge just down the road which takes you to bustling Bancroft Avenue. Everything you need is within approximately a mile from this location: BART, highways, buses, as well as restaurants, shops, a library, the post office, and cafés. Check out Lake Chabot for hiking, cycling, boating and fishing, and the San Leandro Marina for lovely outings along the water. Get involved in small-town politics at the City Hall. It doesn’t get much better than this location. Come see what all the buzz is about and be in your new home before the holidays!

*Bed count differs from the public record and permit status for bonus room is unknown. Buyer to investigate with the city. Neither seller nor listing agent has verified the accuracy of any of these sources of information.

San Leandro is a small city just south of Oakland. Its east side stretches up into the hills of the East Bay Regional Park District. The west side is flatter and has the advantage of the San Francisco Bay shoreline, public golf course, and marina.

Homes for sale in San Leandro can be traced through the decades -- from the 1910s to the present day. A wide variety of architectural styles is found in north San Leandro. Dramatic, hillside contemporary homes, many of which feature expansive bay and canyon views, are the hallmark of the Bayo Vista neighborhood. Charming, older homes sit along the winding streets of the Estudillo Estates and Broadmoor Districts. Most of the city's ranch-style homes lie towards the Marina, along with some newer, custom-home developments.

San Leandro is proud of its small-town feel and boasts a Wednesday farmers' markets, several annual festivals, and an increasing number of locally owned restaurants and coffee houses. San Leandro’s commute options are excellent: it has its own Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) station, transbay buses, and easy access to Interstate 880 and Interstate 580 for trips to the Silicon Valley or San Francisco.
